As a kid I was fascinated by TV shows like CSI, Bones, and Criminal Minds, which probably sounds very unconventional, but these shows all had one thing in common: science-driven problem solving. Bones highlighted forensic anthropology techniques like DNA analysis and isotopic tracing, while CSI focused on forensic evidence analysis. Even Criminal Minds demonstrated how behavioral research could guide complex decision-making. These shows demonstrated how science could answer complex questions, and I thought that was incredible.
