Peter Shen Honored at HCI Annual Awards Dinner

Peter Shen (Biochemistry) and Kevin Jones (Orthopaedic Surgery Operations) were selected as two of Huntsman Cancer Institute's recipients of the Award in Collaboration as part of the 2025 HCI Annual Awards. This award recognizes HCI Cancer Center Members for their leadership in securing a major collaborative grant and exceptional efforts in fostering interdisciplinary partnerships that advance cancer research and discovery.

Peter's work "exemplifies the spirit of teamwork and innovation that defines Huntsman Cancer Institute," according to HCI's CEO, Mary Beckerle. She further stated that, "Through your collaborative approach, you have not only elevated the quality and impact of scientific inquiry but also strengthened the connections that make our research community thrive."
